HELLO to all visitors - and welcome to the Winyates Green Residents Association (WGRA) Website, though I expect the title banner at the top of the page gave that away already...
We try to keep this site reasonably well updated but your best bet for getting the latest and most up to date news is the Facebook page:
THE AIM of the Association is to help enhance the lives of all residents within Winyates Green, providing a friendly central - and positive -point for the community to come together, where people can enjoy shared events, discuss any concerns about the neighbourhood, and help ensure that the area is a happy and inclusive place to live.
It is hoped that all Winyates Green residents would like to be involved with their own Residents Association and from time to time can attend the regular Association meetings which are held in the Community Centre on Furze Lane .
THE ASSOCIATION COMMITTEE is run entirely by volunteers and tries to be both politically and religiously neutral. It should go without saying (but we'll say it anyway!) that we are LGBTQ+ tolerant, however we do not tolerate racism or sexism.
If you want to find out more about the current committee members this can be found in the About Us section - which I'm sure could also be labelled 'Rogues Gallery'.
THE NEXT MEETING of the Association will be on Thursday 4th April from 7:30pm.
As usual itwill be in the Winyates Green Community Centre on Furze Lane (postcode B98 0SE).
There is usually plenty of parking outside. Which is great because for some reason it is usually raining!
